Es documentalista y realizador audiovisual con experiencia de 15 años. Comunicador Social, Magister en Paz, Desarrollo y Resolución de Conflictos. Fue docente universitario por 8 años en el programa de Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Pamplona. Fue director en el Instituto de Victimología de la Universidad Santo Tomás seccional Bucaramanga. Es Director de la productora Cinematográfica Tierranegra Films S.A.S

Su interés radica en la investigación de problemáticas como la destrucción de la naturaleza, el maltrato animal, la desaparición forzada, las tradiciones y costumbres campesinas, la pérdida de identidad cultural, la migración y la construcción de paz positiva, entre otros.
